Vision for the Nation - 29 May 2007

Silicon Navigator is proud to sponsor the web hosting services for the Our Vision for the Nation merdeka campaign. The campaign is spearheaded by Yayasan Harapan Kanak-kanak Malaysia and in collaboration with 9 other non-governmental organisations representing various children's causes.

The objective of the campaign is to raise funds by means of donation from the public where donors can submit a photograph and a vision statement of their children. The collected photographs will be used to form a montage of our Nation's flag, the Jalur Gemilang, which will be revealed during the nation's 50th Independence celebration.

The soft launching was on 29 May 2007 with the official launch on 10 July 2007. The opening ceremony was officiated by Dato' Dr Rais Yatim. In attendance were the 9 NGO's, corporate sponsors, members of the press and children of special homes.
