Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment
System
PayBills Malaysia is an aggregator
of e-payment service model involving multiple
financial institutions and multiple billers.
The service simplifies the process of bill
distribution and payment. For billers and
payees, the Internet mode of payment lowers
processing cost and saves time while improves
collections. For consumers, there is no
travelling time and queuing at payment counters.
The online payment clearly offers compelling
advantages over the existing over-the-counter
payments. Besides being able to pay their
rents and premiums anytime and anywhere,
landowners are given an email notification
one month before their land rents or premiums
are due. This will no doubt help and remind
them to pay on time.
To date, PayBills Malaysia has more than
60,000 registered subscribers; offering
over 100 types of bills and 8 financial
institutions to transact with.
