Empowering Business Continuity & Availability IT Conference 2007

The objective of this event is to introduce new IT technologies and solutions while promoting awareness on the importance of continuity and availability of a business critical IT system and infrastructure.

The event was a great success with over 130 attendees from over 100 companies in attendance.

Merdeka Campaign - Vision for the Nation

Silicon Navigator is proud to sponsor the web hosting for the Our Vision for the Nation merdeka campaign. The campaign is spearheaded by Yayasan Harapan Kanak-kanak Malaysia and in collaboration with 9 other non-governmental organisations representing various children's causes.

The objective of the campaign is to raise funds by means of donation from the public where donors can submit a photograph and a vision statement of their children. The collected photographs will be used to form a montage of our Nation's flag, the Jalur Gemilang, which will be revealed during the nation's 50th Independence celebration.

Silicon Navigator has successfully transferred its webhosting servers to a new data center. The servers' new home is none other than SAINS data center, a dedicated and highly secured facility. With this transfer, all existing customer subscribing to Silicon's webhosting services will see an upgrade in services offered, better control over their own websites and emails and better server performance. Existing customers also enjoy a reduction in hosting rates from Silicon as a gesture of appreciation for all the loyal customers who have been with us for so many years.

The transfer also see a few changes in the way features offered to customers with their hosting packages. Customer can now perform their own backup, view their web statistics, and control their own anti-spam filter via a control panel.
